In early September the former Allison Court Apartments were torn down in order to start construction for the Ruby Condominiums. The site has been cleared and excavation and shoring will begin by the end of the month. Continue to check this web site for periodic updates on the project.

The Ruby Condos are starting to make their presence known along Eastlake. With the formation of the street level retail spaces, neighbors can get a hint of how the building is going to change the dynamics of this important corner. With a new restaurant at the corner and small local retail shops along the street, Ruby Condos will soon be a great meeting place for north Eastlake neighbors.

The excavation of the site of Ruby Condos is nearly complete. The two different levels shown here are for the two parking levels. The bottom-most level will be dug down about another foot. Then preparations will be made for pouring the building’s footings.
